App doesn't really ever show the accurate temperature as shown on air !!! Radar is always delayed , it's always behind the weather moving in !!!

Ive been a Wave 3 weather fan from the time I was old enough to understand the science behind weather! And the meteorologist make it easy and fun to learn about weather😉 I am a hard core B.O.T.S fan. So i have to have this app. And I am always excited for the Wave 3 winter predictions to come out at the end of October. This is a 100% must have app! If you don't have this app and you live in the viewing area I recommend you download this app right away and join in the fun!
It got good talent weather in information ever is.
Completely garbage the forcasting is most often wrong and the future cast is also. Most days you can not even get the application to load. Very disappointed in this app.
Nice app with all info streamlined. Only had couple days but seems pretty accurate this far. I redownload recently and thankfully city is loading screen. Notification sound with words is annoying if not emergency. Too many ads. For an app this large it doesn't keep running in background and needs to load every time. 3/5 stars still stands
Get announcements, "a weather update from the WAVE 3 Storm Team has arrived"..... but wh when you open the app..... rarely is there any notice there..... I just got 2 announcements in 15 minutes, but the latest "update" is over an hour ago! Come on guys
LOVE my Wave 3 weather app been using it for years to stay on top of the weather all over the country where other family members live giving them the heads up on approaching bad weather all at my fingertips Did have 1 kink past week an app alert that I couldn't get to clear I was getting frustrated and disappointed but it's gone now Thank you for this great app!
Use it frequently on a daily basis, which allows me to schedule and track weather that may impact my ability to perform certain aspects of our work.
Seems to hang a few times a week and I have to let the radar, in particular, do several runs before it updates.
Hands down the best on demand radar system. Notifiction customization is great too for multiple locations, not just the normal viewing area.
I have mixed feeling on the WAVE 3 weather app! I like that the temperature is always kept updated in the status bar - that is very helpful! One problem I have encountered is sometimes I will not receive lightning, thunderstorms, or heavy rain warnings in my area! All my notification are turn on & I have it turn on to follow me! Once in a blue moon I may get a occasional warning but that's it! 🤔
Wave 3 weather is the most accurate for my area. I wish the app were as great as the weather team! Unfortunately, there are issues with notifications. I don't mind a "ping" to let me know there's a new post/alert, but I don't want Kevin Harned's voice blaring through my doctor's office! I finally had to turn off notifications to keep that from happening, which means I don't "hear" the updates if severe weather is close by. Really frustrating!
Previously rated a 3 and said the app was decent. Not anymore! The video forecasts always cut off mid-sentence and roll into another commercial. The end of the forecast is just gone and you never learn what it is. To be fair, the app is a reflection of the poor weather forecasting. You can't plan by the forecast. They get temps right, but hardly ever in rain, storms or snow
Radar works fine. Follow me is useless. If I look at the Radar for another city don't ever think it will switch back to my current location. Even though I say current location I am forced to delete every other location in the memory in order for my home location to be displayed. Have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times still same result.
I have used this weather app for years and until the last update it was a 5-star app. But now I get notifications I don't need and can't seem to turn off. It's really annoying, and if it doesn't stop, I'll be looking for another weather app and local news TV outlet. Review update 8/23/2021: It's been a few months now since my original review. I have successfully stopped all the notifications that were annoying me and can again give this app a 5 star rating. Now if we only had Mo Rose.
The only thing I don't like is, if I change apps, and come right back, even less than 1 minute, the "Kevin Called It" loading screen comes up. I have to wait for it to load again. It does this every single time I leave and come back to the app, no matter how long I was gone. Even if I lock my phone, and open it right back up, less than 10 seconds.
This used to be a great app but since about the last three four maybe even five updates it just keeps getting worse. Now when I try to check the weather where I'm at it always finds my location is somewhere else and when I put it to follow me or even change the city to where I'm at if it's in my list it's still just continuously churches and searches. And since several different cities use the same basic program it doesn't do a lot of good to get a different one.
I like the app overall but had to delete because of unwanted notification sounds. The app overrides the settings to turn off notifications and turns them back on in the app. I have changed daily with no luck of keeping them off. Even when you turn notifications off in phone settings and in app settings, it still sends notification sounds with nothing in notification bar.
There is a current winter storm warning. There is no notification at all of this except inside the app. All setting for alerts are enabled but default. Other than that, it's Louisville weather and works, I guess. How the app is built is odd, but at least the radar is functional.
