Few things are more thrilling than when actors from your fave show fall in love and start dating, and Euphoria stars Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike were no exception. These two went public with their relationship for only a couple of months, but they made such an impact, killing it on the red carpet and causing the internet to melt down every time they were spotted out in the wild. In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Dominic confirms that he and Hunter have broken up, saying he’s “done being in relationships right now” due to his struggle with codependency. He also opens up about how he thinks filming Euphoria season 3 with his now-ex will go, saying, “I think it’ll be fine. We’re all adults, kind of. I’m trying.”
The singer affirms the split during a convo with the Los Angeles Times, musing that it’s time for him to be “alone for a while.”

In a GQ profile, Dominic opens up about Hunter for the first time as he recalls falling in love with the actor on the set of Euphoria.
“In those moments, your relationship is accelerated,” he confesses about filming their intense scenes. “Because you’re so vulnerable with someone, immediately. Which usually takes a long time. Some people fall in love, like, f*cking months after they meet or years after. We developed an attraction—it sped it up so fast. We just really got to know each other so quickly.”
He also admits that he’s gone to the Prada store in SoHo multiple times so he could see Hunter’s face on the ads in the windows of the store: “That’s the best part.” BRB, sobbing!

Hunter chats about how much fun it was to work with Dominic specifically in an interview with Variety. But first, Zendaya says this regarding Dominic’s character coming between Rules: “I wasn’t feeling it—as someone who ships Rules to the bitter end. And I was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, what are we doing here?’ But in retrospect, and also as someone who understands where the show needs to go and what needs to happen for these characters, it’s crucial that Elliot exists and that he be the person that is honestly the catalyst for a lot of things that just have to happen.”
And then Hunter adds, “I think I was in a similar boat to Z when I first heard about this Elliot boy. But, you know, as we saw more of what it brought into the story and the script, it became a more interesting and exciting prospect, and once Dom came on board, he made it a lot of fun.”
