Audience Member Lulu Dahl is great in her scenes towards the end and Kaiser is so realistic in his part as well. I didn't expect to like this as much as I did! Some of the middle is slow but it sets up the great ending. Stick it out til the end, you won't be disappointed. Rated 5/5 Stars •Rated 5 out of 5 stars02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie left me thinking a lot about my own life after it ended. I was surprised that it went as deep as it did as the poster really sells it like a by the numbers horror movie. I am recommending this to my friend who's mom went through something similar to the characters in this movie. Rated 5/5 Stars •Rated 5 out of 5 stars02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member The film had moments that were slow for sure. For those parts I'm knocking off a star but...once the last 3rd of the film presents what is going on I was shaken. THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK! Some people may hate that and others will love it, it's just a matter of connecting with the message. Round of applause for the writer and director for ending on such a strong note! Rated 4/5 Stars •Rated 4 out of 5 stars01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member As a fan of most things apocalyptic. This film actually pained me to sit through 25 minutes of ridiculous settings, and acting. What I can only assume was flashbacks were mind numbing whilst running through the city I kept trying to see where it fit in the story. Anyone who's stubbed a toe on the corner of their bed acts more in pain than the main character after catching himself on a trap. My husband was in shock that I even attempted to watch further than the odd exchange in the tent once he allows her inside. I wouldn't recommend this film at all. It felt too much like the short films made during the covid lockdown. Dry, and absolutely zero effort in acting skills. Rated 1.5/5 Stars •Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars01/27/23 Full Review bradale j Subpar acting listed under a misleading genre... (Spoiler Alert) This movie is indeed a DRAMA. The HORROR is "demons" used in representation of mental illnesses. This would have indeed been better as one of those brochures lying on the table of a doctor's office. As a movie, it was a waste of time and energy. Rated 1/5 Stars •Rated 1 out of 5 stars03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great ending that makes up for it's slow start. Emotionally wrecked me! Jessica Scott Nightmarish Conjurings [J]ust because it all makes sense in the end doesn’t make THE TENT entertaining or artful...Take out some of the filler and repetition, and you might have a movie that earns the emotional weight it aims for at the end. “Abigail” is thoroughly delightful on every level. Again, some small issues with pacing and the ending, but nothing that is enough to drown out the large grin most people will be wearing on their faces for most of the movie.
On the film review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes, films that have exclusively positive reviews and have been reviewed by at least five critics have a 100% approval rating.
While the first half is devoid of any gore or violence, the second half has lots of blood and gruesome moments, including scenes of characters having their limbs tossed off and flung around, plenty of fight scenes, some gorier than others, and scenes of characters being bitten by vampires, characters exploding, and a ...
