AEP Ohio Issues Reports Near Grove City, Ohio
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Grove City and nearby locations:
Tyler Woodbridge (@woodbridgetyler) reported fromGrove City Country Club, Ohio
If every person affected by @AEPOhio's decision to arbitrarily shut off power without warning were to protest outside their tower downtown, maybe they would think twice before pulling some bullsh*t like this again. Thinking of all the sick, young, elderly, etc. who suffered too
Mounir šŖ¬ (@MounirLynch) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@RobDorans @AEPOhio Meanwhile their CEO makes millions of dollars per annum but they canāt afford to maintain power. AEP are murderous pigs
Rep. Dontavius L. Jarrells (@iamDontavius) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@IMPACTCA is providing a $250 Kroger gift card to replace food lost during the @AEPOhio outage. To qualify, you must bring in your photo ID and a recent copy of your AEP bill. These funds will get used up, so please spread the word.
Allison Wiley (@awileyx3) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Lol and now my power is out again. Seriously **** off @aepohio this is absurd. Canāt handle 90Ā° days? FIX IT NOW
Edible Intelligence (@samvance) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
THE POWER JUST CAME BACK ON @ BROAD MEADOWS BLVD 5:26AMMy groceries are still ruined, but at least Iāll be able to sleep.#columbus Cc @AEPOhio
USTrademarkLaw (@JoeDreitler) reported fromUpper Arlington, Ohio
@AEPOhio You turned off power Tues 2pm. Back 6 am & now off again. Intentional, really? Incompetent. Iām Iām Nowhere near storm. How long? Iām 71. Donāt have āother accommodationsā @GovMikeDeWine
šskan*fieldš (@ESJackets) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@sween719 @AEPOhio It is city wide rolling blackouts because AEP infrastructure is ****. One storm caused this. It's really just them not being prepared for this situation. Just clowns taking our money and not investing it in a robust and sustainable grid.
Patrick š¶āš«ļø (@pattatochip) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio my power is out. Again.
šskan*fieldš (@ESJackets) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Well, I have no power. Thank you so much @AEPOhio you suck.
Jen House (@jenhouse) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Stop calling what @AEPOhio is doing ārolling blackouts.ā Thatās not what this is. To be a rolling blackout it has to actually move around. They just shut off power to a huge portion of the poorest areas of the city for what sounds like will be DAYS unannounced.
charity (@ceb3_) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Got off 30 minutes late because our outpatient facility has no power again! Had to call 31 people to reschedule important testing. Thanks @AEPOhio !
Gregory P Schenk (@tenantrep1) reported fromUpper Arlington, Ohio
@Bcarp3 @AEPOhio I walked golfing yesterday 9 holes at noon found out it was 109 degree heat index . I had 3 waters and a smoothie before and 2 waters during. Twice thought was going to pass out and on 9 th tee felt like I had never worked out and I work out daily ! Hot hot hot š„µ
Dustin Pappalardo (@dustnpappalardo) reported fromLincoln Village, Ohio
Iām not buying the āstormsā are responsible for the intentional power outage from @aepohio and shame on @andrewginther for supporting them. We barely had any rain yesterday. Iāll be called a conspiracy theorist now but proven right in six months about this.
Gerald Moore Jr. (@geraldmoore_jr) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
The electric companies have way too much power. @AEPOhio literally shut off peoples electric in a heat š in some of the poorest communities. Thankfully my in laws had electric and we were able to take the kids there but for the families with no other options I empathize. #ohio
Mounir šŖ¬ (@MounirLynch) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio youāre gonna start notifying people when you cut off their power first, right? I know youāre not obligated to provide customer service since you monopolize the entire area, but thereās gotta be some lessons learned here?
Jon Shecketšŗš¦ (@jshecket) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
I think @AEPOhio should absolutely charge a surcharge to all homes that did not lose power including my family.
D. Jennings (@d84jennings) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@iamDontavius @AEPnews This is outrageous! They forcefully took homes off the power grid, this was no storm or act of god. @AEPOhio #Shameful
James Johnson (@giganano9) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
If you have a monopoly on a cityās power grid, and you canāt sustain the entire city drawing AC when itās >90F outside, then youāve failed at your job. @MayorGinther should be treating @AEPOhioās decision to intentionally black out even a single house in Columbus as exactly that
USTrademarkLaw (@JoeDreitler) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@MitsukiIsMySon @AEPOhio We were 16. On 5 and back off likely until Thursday sometime? You think they ca. supply @intel w power? Right. We will have more of these days. And PUCO does zero for customers
nirRADICAL (@nirradical) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@sdfavor @AEPOhio Wow I worked for AEP 5 years and never even knew about this! Are you sure claims would be valid? I could see them denying...We are not responsible for unpredictable or preventative damages such as:Line failuresHigh WindsActs of GodCauses beyond the control of the company

Bryan Dickey (@di63236962) reported
@AEPOhio when can we expect the power back on? Had no update on the last outage on saturday for 13 hours. Website and app give no help or realistic timeframes..
Jeff Kennedy (@JKennedy60) reported
@MayorGinther @ColumbusCouncil How about putting some pressure on @AEPOhio to fix these constant power outages??
Dave OāNeil (@oneilohio) reported
Power last went out here on Dec. 23. Itās been a long time since @AEPOhio provided power to my house for at least one consecutive month. Whenever the power comes back on, we will see if they can go a month. Unlikely as it may rain or the wind may blow stronger than 5 mph.
manda. (@manda_614) reported
Our power was out for 5.5 hours on Thursday and now weāre in the dark again. ETA 8:30. This side of High St loses power monthly and during every storm. When will @AEPOhio invest in better lines for Italian Village? This is insanity.
Christine Wilkosz (@cdubb64) reported
@AEPOhio When did it start taking 5 hours to repair after a storm? AEP is the worst.
**titantic quartet plays** (@vichan) reported
@BrianTFinch @AEPOhio Haven't lived all over the planet but I have lived all over Ohio, including Cleveland. I thought Cleveland Public Power was bad, but AEP is by far the worst. Second outage in under a week. I can kinda understand today's with some high winds but there was no reason for Sat/Sun.
**titantic quartet plays** (@vichan) reported
@AEPOhio I already know to do this, thanks.I want to know how to get credit on my bill for all the bulllsh*t this past week. What ******** am I paying for?
KwamƩ Berry (@sydsbroda) reported
Hi @AEPOhio Its been three hours since we sent in a ticket. Groceries arenāt exactly cheap these days so an estimate for power restoration needs to be provided.

@wake_41 @AEPOhio Walk out your door.
Allie Dumski (@AllieDumski) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@oneilohio @AEPOhio Iāll have to use my first $5 bet to get the free $200 in promos to pay our already outrageous bill (especially considering this service) - that they want to increase.
