Best shop in SW Florida........ I have bought at least 5 guns from them and every time I got the best service and price. In fact I'm going in to look at something new to buy. I am an NRA instructor and their knowledge is top notch.

They greeted me as soon as I walked in the door and helped me with all of my gun needs

Had to find mags for an Ak and a Colt 45, and they had both at a very good price

All these bad reviews must be from other local dealers trying to give George and his guys a bad name. Don't believe the BS. Go in yourself and be the judge. I went in twice in the past 2 years and both time they were great to deal with. If you don't like the transfer fee's then don't use them to do your transfers. They are in business to make money. I've been in the store 3 or 4 times, asking questions, and looking. I've always been treated well, got questions answered.They took time with me and treated me well.I will be back to purchase.

Gun sales have skyrocketed in the past couple of years. If it ever levels off this store and the jerks that work there will be the first to go. I didn't think all the negative reviews could be true but I was mistaken. Its worse! I gave it one star because the system wouldn't allow zero.

I was in there the other day and all I can say is unbelievable. Not only the worst people I have ever encountered in a gun store but in any business. Prices are also higher than most.

Well I have never been a gun store employee but I have been to this store three times and these guys are always jerks.I do have a lot of experience with firearms and I believe the only people who recommend them have very little. Only when you are armed with facts do you realize what jerks they are.

I have done buisness with these people many times over the years and have always felt like a satisfied consumer even when selling some of my used firearms. Staff is very knowledgable, Always polite, and prices are the same or lower than the other stores in the area. In fact I have shopped at every firearm store in Port Charlotte and A&H is the only one I will do buisness with Since Bob sold Army Navy. Other stores acted as if I wasn't worth showing me there wares or were outright wrong with "facts" being given to other customers, or were just outright rude.

I recently traded. and recieved an older S&W 38 special. I brought it in and at no charge the guy's looked it over and noticed the barrrel had a crack under the extractor pin. I was told the gun was not safe, too bad it was a good looker. My next purchase will be at A & H Guns.

I have bought at least 10 guns here. Some new, some used. You cannot beat the selection and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Some have even spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with suppliers or on-line trying to find exactly what I wanted and they always came through. True, you might find a better price here and there on the internet, but consider this...these guys are right here if you have a problem or question and they have the experience to help you. I had a problem with a used gun I purchased and they sent it back to the factory for me (no charge) and got it repaired under warranty, I could go on, but suffice it to say they are the best in town and don't take my word for it, the Sun Herald reader's poll confirms it. Check them out and see for yourself...you won't be disappointed.

Just purchased another gun the other day and could not have been treated better. I don't understand some of these recent negative comments. I have purchased 6 guns form them, both new and used since they opened in late 2010. Always fair priced. Always more than courteous and always welcomed back like a freind. Not quite the same down the street or at the large stores in Fort Myers. I would tell anyone to stop in and see for themselves instead of reading what either some jealous competition is writing or someone with a bone to pick. These guys are for real and care about the customer.

I have made several gun and other purchases from A&H and couldn't be happier. Most of the local stores are close in prices and what they stock. So the place that has a knowledgeable and friendly staff that treats me right gets my money.

The prices suck. The parking sucks. The people suck. This store sucks.

This store has the highest prices and the highest FFL transfer fee of any store within 50 miles. The people are not very knowledgeable and some are downright rude.

I bought a gun on line and this store charged $40.00 to do the transfer. That was the first and last time I dealt with them. I have made three more online purchases since and had the transfer done for $20.00 elsewhere.They not only charged double but acted as if they were doing me a favor. Some real resentment for not buying the gun in their store. Even though their prices are very high.

The prices are high and the people are just nasty. I watched several people being badly treated including one who just shook his head and walked out. Buy online its easy and cheaper.

These people are idiots. Most especially the big one. Loud, and obnoxious. The worst gun store I've ever been in.

New to the area. Went in to look at guns. The prices seemed high. I mentioned better prices on the internet and was told I should stop wasting his time and go order it on the net. Which I did for $175.00 less. I'll never go in there again.

The people in that store suck. Don't go there.
